Now here's an uncommon record! Ella Shields sings Oh! it's a lovely war and coo-ee, I believe she was the first to sing oh it's a lovely war, this is the original 1918 columbia in what I'd call a noisy V+

I don't know if ella Shields was the fist to sing it - i think there are many versions as i have it on a number of records which would appear earlier than this (but might not be) but my Favourite version ifs the Peter Dawson /ernest Pike version in which they actually seem to be enjoying themselves !

This really is excellent and again another record i have never had a copy of !
