This is a most interesting programmes - i can sort of imagine some of George Formby's & Gracie Fields' songs being banned BUT Bing Crosby ? apparently during the War some of his songs were thought of as "sickly sentimental " What a surprise ! the programme covers music from the 1930's up until to - day so has a wide range

I liked this programme but some ofthe "talking heads" are rather annoying - but that's typical of modern TV i'm afraid ... the-banned
