This is a machine i owned some time ago - i dismantled it to see how it was constructed !

The Machine

The Motorboard showing the Curved Tonearm

Image

The trademark showing all sorts of Pseudo - Scientific Mumbo - Jumbo

Image

The Horn from above - motorboard removed

Image

The Patent label on the Horn

Image

The Horn from the front showing the "Slots" into the side Chambers !

Image

The Horn Removed from the cabinet showing the fact that it doesn't have any fixed sides - the chambers either side form the sides when in the cabinet

The base of the Cabinet under the horn - NO not Giant Regimented Woodwork - strange Ventilation holes Ideal for woodworm !

Here i compare the sound between this machien and an HMV no 511 and it's very Favourable to the Chromogram

Wealth without work. Pleasure without conscience. Knowledge without character .Commerce without morality. Science without humanity. Worship without sacrifice. Politics without principle.

Money. Greed. Naivety. Falsehoods. Exploitation. Welcome to the wonderful world of gramophones!
