"Antique Brown" Hmv 101 Portable

I saw this on ebay some weeks ago and knew it was rare, a quick glance at Dave Cooper's Book revealed nothing so i made an offer far less than the listing price and bought it ! it seems so strange that HMV Should offer a 101 with a different finish to the others - it's NOT Croc but a sort of aged parchment in chocolate Brown - did they sell well ? i very much doubt it as i've not seen another for sale or on display anywhere, i've only just opened the box as i've been so busy lately and was surprised to find it was in good condition for it's age here it is :
