Which HMV artistes Advertised which machine ?

Post by Gmemg » Mon Dec 11, 2017 6:19 pm

Or perhaps which HMV Artistes got which machine FREE ! i often wondered about the HMV Artistes advertising mahcines on the sleeves of HMV records and wether they actually got the machine advertised and if they appeared more than once with a different/ updated machine !

But after an exhaustive search of my records i find that NO there were no updates and whilst my collection may not represent the complete selection of HMV Sleeves it must represent a fa1r selection

it is interesting though too see who got what !

It look slike Sir Harry LAuder had the best Deal BUT why were the machines advertised the cheaper ones in the range ? (apart from Sir H ) are there no adverts of a "star With an HMV 203 " ? and why are a lot of these people photographed in the same room .................is it an Agatha Christie mystery ?
