Jenkins Patent Gatespring Motor

Post by Gmemg » Tue Dec 12, 2017 2:22 pm

This is a real oddity - i have seen several, they seem to be used in a very cheap & cheerful small console machine called a "Suprgrand" (Yes that is how it's spelt) and uses ...........The coiled spring usually found closing gates ! it must have been VERY Cheap indeed .

This is the first one i've seen with a name & patent details on it

The clue that a machine has one of these is that the turntable is at the LH end of the cabinet whilst the handle is very small and at the right hand end !

The Motor - yes that is the spring
