HMV Limerick Puzzle Record HMV B 3986

Post by Gmemg » Thu Dec 14, 2017 9:51 pm

HMV were really inspired by the 1920's and had Claude Hulbert record this record which has 6 Limericks on each side - they start off in the main body of the record then you have to find the conclusion in the middle grooves - thus it's possible to have many different permutations !

it really is hilarious and so i took it with me to my recent "Country House" Xmas where it was a real hit - although it might have been because of the huge amount of drink consumed by the Host, His family & Guests !

Here's Part 1

and part 2

Corruption in the CLPGS :
The Seven Social Sins are:
Wealth without work. Pleasure without conscience. Knowledge without character .Commerce without morality. Science without humanity. Worship without sacrifice. Politics without principle.

Money. Greed. Naivety. Falsehoods. Exploitation. Welcome to the wonderful world of gramophones!
