I've just uploaded a load of british ragtime and ragtime influenced tracks to youtube. Eventually these will be on a cd, or set of cds of mine when they're restored, hope you enjoy them! they are

a very interesting selection - i'm glad to hear that they will or may appear on a set of CDS - actually finding a decent selection of Ragtime music on Cd by original performers from 78s is very hard indeed.

I notice a few i already have but i'm really looking forward to listening to "raggedy Doo" as i certainly haven't seen that one before ! let's hop that it's not some sort of Ragtime version of "scooby Doo"....................and you would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those pesky kids ...................

These all came from Mark Beresford and very good they are too! I was curious about that title as well, many more to upload including an interesting early recording of temptation rag on ariel etc

How very curious - The Ariel Grand will most certainly be from another company originally -i recently sorted out some Ariel grands and found them to be from all sorts of sources, Grammavox, Zonophone, German

so who knows where it came from ! but it's a good version
