"Crumpet - A history"

Post by Gmemg » Tue Dec 12, 2017 3:02 pm

Or - "the weedy little bloke & the powerful woman"

Most will know the term "crumpet" from the 60's and 70's films, TV and adverts and particularly from The Carry on Films, Dick Emery, James Bond films et al ! this Documentary is about the subject and shows the ultimate silliness of the films

I watched this and found the films initially rather amusing but then found them rather seedy and slightly disturbing and finally rather distasteful but i did still enjoy "Up Pompeii" which is still as good as when written , it also features interviews with the Women, most painfully old - but it's well worth watching - get your flasher macs on -
